Belief Associates is an art collective who use their medium of choice to explore issues of spirituality and religion in our modern world. We explore with rigor, experimentation and open mindedness our past and present beliefs, plumbing the depths of our psyche, while trying to communicate our experience with others.
We have group shows, share readings, make and watch films, and have guest speakers and presentations. The works presented can be controversial and critical, or purely experimental and experiential. Our main goal is to deeply engage with material, and be brave enough to put it out into the world. We are committed not only to expressing ourselves in full authenticity, but also listening and understanding the experiences of others.
We are based in NYC and meet in person, but we also use this website to share and exchange ideas with others from around the world.
